<p>RAND is one of those few places that really places a premium on employees with masters degrees/PhDs. Even looking at the specified entry-level positions they prefer you to have a PhD, although they might consider a well qualified candidate with a masters degree. Don’t even bother trying, the website says “the program does not hire undergraduates.” As soccerguy said, look elsewhere. There are tons of other similar places that actually hire undergrads.</p>

<p>tons of think tanks in DC… they all do research and analysis on a variety of topics. You are looking for a defense related think tank, most likely, since that seems to be what RAND is most known for.
