Is it possible to get in?

Boston U
Northeastern
Penn State U Park
Udel
Nova
Uconn
Syracuse
American U

Found out I am going to be sending in a 1630 as my SAT score to my schools… Also my GPA is a 3.86/5 weighted and my extra circulars are great, my Essays are near flawless, and my recommendations are fantastic. Is there still even a remote shot at any of these schools or am I stuck with schools like:

Rutgers
Rider
WVU
George Mason
VCU
Drexel?

By the way i’m doing early decision to bu and early action everywhere else!

I cannot speak to any of the schools on yopur list accept for American University. American’s student stats have been rising a lot every year. The current unweighted GPA
mean is 3.80 and SAT mean of about 1900. It is expected that their selectivity based upon percentage of admitted students may go below 40% for the Class of 2016.

you may want to look at Michigan State if a big school is what you would like…they are accepting alot of OOS kids with lower SAT’s if GPA is higher…

possibly Syracuse if you check off Human Ecology as a second choice school…

and if you were one of my students, I would have you look through test optional schools as well given your GPA is so strong…

My gpa is not too strong… And really even doing early action or decision won’t give me any more of a shot at a school like the ones in the top category? Ughh any other suggestions?

With a 1630 you do not have to worry about getting stuck at Drexel. The average there is 1785.

Anyone else…

Bump^^^^^^

Btw got accepted to Drexel… You were saying?

I dunno about the others, but you should be fine at UConn, as long as you can afford it.

i can afford all of my schools that I apply too, and thanks for the feedback!
