Is it possible to score 800 in SAT Bio M without AP Bio?

Hello!

I am currently studying for upcoming SAT-II Biology M using Barron’s, Kaplan’s & Princeton Review (from Library) SAT Biology. I often heard that AP prep books are needed to score above 750 cutline. Are AP Bio prep books are really needed?

Of course they’re never “required;” you can score 800 w/out any prep books if you have an aptitude for biology. However if you’ve already taken AP Bio you’ll be at an advantage, and probably won’t need any prep books.
