<p>Haha! My best friends husband has 2 Masters, 3 Ph.D’s, and now works in admissions at a university - so it can be done to a point. He started working at the school at the age of 38.</p>

<p>^ I don’t know, post-docs are held in relatively high esteem within the scientific community. I mean, members of editorial boards for scientific journals are often dubbed “failed post-docs” by others.</p>
