Is It Possible?

I want honest responses.

I am a pretty bright kid, gifted, AP student, (like mostly everyone here) However, I really want a 2210+ on the SAT to help my chances in college and for personal pride.

My problem is that I went from a 1910 (March) to a 2070 (June) with roughly 3 weeks of studying. My third and final SAT time is October and I really want to improve another 140 points (minimum) Is it really possible if I buy Barron’s book and the PR 11 practice tests?

Or is this just simply out of reach and foolish for me to try that much?

thanks (sorry if I sound stupid)

Hey, anythings possible!
No, but seriously, I’m sure you can do it. You already showed you could jump 160 points in 3 weeks… you’ve got 3 months now to study.

I got a 2120 this June on my first try and aiming for a 2250+ in October, so I’m pretty much in the same boat as you.

Also, what were you section scores? In other words, what do you need to improve?
Mine were CR- 620 (aaah), M- 780, W- 720

Basically, my main problem is the CR. My summer study plan is to learn as many vocab words as is humanly possible in a time period of 70 days (from the Sparknotes 1000 word list), and practice lots of CR sections.

Barron’s book and PR 11 practice tests should definitely help. (If you actually do them…)

Good luck! And it’s def not foolish…

i did it with little to no studying.

go for it :P

Original: M 650 CR 650 W 610

June: M 700 CR 690 W 680
