Is it realistic?

Hello I’m currently a daca student with a dream to study more after high school. I wanted to go to my closest community college but for me in my case Instead of paying 5,000 for Montco CC I would pay 10,000 and I can’t afford that. I heard that California CC’s are way cheaper. Could I go to the cheapest one and study there? Please help! I live in PA but I would do anything to make my parents waste less money.

You are not a California resident so you would be paying out of state fees for any California community college. Figure on around $20,000/ year including living expenses. And coming to CA for education will not get you residency to help reduce costs so you would be considered OOS the whole time you are here. NOT REALISTIC

Here are costs per unit/per semester just for tuition not including room/board/books/transportation/personal expenses etc…

CA community college is really cheap for CA residents.

Try to get into a college that might have Merit scholarships for you that would make the cost less expensive.
