Earlier this year I was accepted into Morrisville State College and I sent in my commitment form that following week. As I came home yesterday I saw a big Penn State packet laying on my desk!!! I was extremely excited and I did not expect to get into Penn State. I now want to go to Penn State is it to late to change schools now?

You’re allowed to - in fact, many students send in their deposit to “reserve” a room at their directional, but don’t actually attend since they receive another offer later on. HOWEVER wait for your financial aid offer from Penn State before you withdraw from Morrisville. You want to make sure that the Penn State offer is affordable.

What do you think kids on wait lists do? Exactly what you are about to. Enjoy Penn State! However, follow advice from poster above about affording it.

Never too late. Even if you attend a university for a few years you can change schools. Every decision has its consequences, but are often times worth the effort. Congrats. Penn State is a fine school. Best of luck.

Thanks guys for the advice!!! It is something I have to sit down and think about.
