This is a question from my friend.
He wants to transfer to UC Merced, and he applied for Chemical sciences (biology emphasis).
However, he just found out that he won’t qualify for that major because of the physics class he took.
He wants to change his major to biological sciences (chemistry emphasis).
Is it too late to do so?

He’s applying for Fall 2015.
Too late. If he gets accepted, he could consider a switch at that point.
