Hi I just turned 18 a month ago.
I wanna ride a bike
Anyone bad at it younger and eventually learned or just…learned late?

Do it before you go to college… but practice where no one can see you.

It’s never too late to learn to ride a bike.

After attending college together a bunch of us worked our first jobs together. The lab where we worked was huge and there were bikes everywhere for use to get from one building to another. One of us had never ridden a bike so the rest of us taught him how to do so. The new rider became a serious rider and eventually outdid all of us by riding from the west coast to the east coast – and back!

I learnt how to ride a bike a few days after my 40th birthday!

I’m a rising sophomore (skipped a grade)
drz, that’s pretty cool
you guys give me hope :)

training wheels :)

oh I did those a long long time ago
i always fell off when I tried it without them though haha
vroom vroom
you guys have encouraged me to get one soon

go to China, bikes everywhere. Now they even have electric bikes, designed just for those aren’t good at it.

Being in that line of business, I see a lot of adults , young and old that do not know how to ride. Don’t know why, but a lot of them seem to be from DC.
You can learn, and you will so glad that you did !
Wear a helmet and practice away from cars

it takes a grass field, a bike, and 1 hour…you’ll ride perfectly fine…then there’s nothing to worry about

Just a note, don’t be so scared about crashing at low speeds and such. Chances are you’ll get in a minor crash sooner or later and it’s good to get it over with early and at a slow speed so you get the nerves out of the way after you realize that it’s not so bad. Seems like a strange piece but it works for me.
