<p>I researched Tufts, and it seems a perfect fit, only too late it seems. The deadline is jan. 10. Am I too late to apply?? Are the Alumni interviews required???</p>

<p>Tufts accepts the common app, although there is a supplemental section. Get the first part in NOW, then write the other essays over break (we all know that you can write something half decent in a day). Get your teachers to send in your recs ASAP - just ask them when you return to school after break.</p>
<p>Alum interviews take place between October and February. You can still get one - file your first part as soon as you can, which will maximize your chances. It isn’t held against you if they can’t find someone to talk to you for an hour. </p>
