Is it true that the Math/Eng sections are MORE important?

<p>Some schools (like Geog Tech) say that they care more about the Math/Eng section…rather than the reading/science section. Is it true that doing well on Math/Eng is MORE important than doing well on reading/science?</p>

<p>Maybe because those are knowledge based? Never heard that though.</p>

<p>Yeah I believe so. When I looked at Carnegie Mellon’s admission statistics, it only showed the average statistics for the Math and English sections</p>

<p>i did MISERABLY BAD on reading :confused: i hope they put more emphasis on ENg and Math.</p>
