Is it true they're handscoring some tests?

I’m among one of the several test-takers who do not have the October SAT scores yet. Some people said that random tests are drawn and handscored, which would take another 2 weeks.

Please tell me this is not true. I’m sure there are many who are also applying for ED/EA and need our scores beforehand.

Thanks very much!

I don’t need my score beforehand but I dont think I want any oldman with glasses 5 inch thick to handscore my answer sheet !!!

I think they only handscore “questionable” tests, like if they think there is a mistake because you went up too much or something.

nope I’m sure, its routine its happened to me before

So there wasn’t any major problem?

How soon did you get your results? Hopefully less than 2 weeks :)

isnt that illegal?

That’s ridiculous that they would do this. They should at least inform us if they are planning to do it.

it took a week

If that’s the case, I don’t know why our scores are not even in the database. Hopefully College Board will know that many of us are applying EA/ED. Maybe it’s just a glitch?

It would suck if somehow a test paper got cancelled because of a silly error :)
