Is it true?

That if you complete around 20 or so practice tests (official), then there is no way you can get below a 750 in a section? If you review what you got wrong and etc ofcourse.

That is not true.

I am not sure for Critical Reading but for math and writing, I believe so…

I went through about 20 and got an 800 in Math, 760 in Writing

But I only got ~700 in CR… But I am naturally a bad reader.

I’m just speculating but I believe that it is sort of true though. For math, and Writing, there are specific problems being tested. If you get the hang of the concepts behind these, then I believe you would increase your score significantly by your 20th practice test.

But Niquii77, why do you believe its not true?

If you retain the information from the 20 tests then it is true. However, many cannot, so many can’t score 750+.

Quick question before I answer, by review do you mean learn the concepts and master the concepts, or just seeing what places you lack in and taking another test.

I mean if you see what you messed up on such as Pre-algebra problems, practice those problems, learn how to do them, then of course you’re going to get them right.

But then if you just see that you mess up in Pre algebra, see an example problem, and take another test…

Think about it though, not every can pass that 750. Therefore that statement isn’t true.

Just so you guys know, i’m not thinking any other position is wrong, just seeing some opinions.

And Niquii77, most people don’t even take 20 practice tests, and therefore aren’t near 750. It seems to me that every person who actually gets a 700+ are those who took so many practice tests. The average person doesn’t even know what it tests when he takes an administered exam.

And I do mean reviewing and learning the concepts. However, I want to know what you mean by “mastering” the concept. How do you master them? Just curious cause I want to receive a high score as well >.>

Mastering as in being able to apply that concept to certain problems and situations. Being able to define it. Teach it.

“there is no way you can get…”
there is always a way :)

I completed more than 30 tests and still cannot reach 750. I guess I am not that smart on my own. If you are a smart kid and have a smart teacher/tutor, then yes you can reach 750.

I think it depends on the student, really! Haha, but hopefully I reach that level once I finish 20 tests…
