im trying to decide btw syracuse and bryn mawr college. does anyone have any opinions and major differences that could change my mind (other than bryn mawr is all girls)? it would really be helpful.
thanks

bryn mawr students typically go to other schools to party and hang out on weekends while syracuse is the party. Syracuse is a major party school, and basically that’s mostly all there is to do in the winter. In my impression, bryn mawr girls are more focused on intelletual life and syracuse students are just doing the work to plan for their future’s…

try students review if you want a definitive answer :)

ok SU is not a major party school, but there is a good greek scene if that’s what you want.

Don’t worry guys, the winter isn’t as bad people as make it seem. And I never felt compelled to get smashed bc it’s cold outside, so I still don’t get that argument.

Syracuse is a small town and there is some stuff to do but having a car would benefit you the most to maximize that. This is a party school and sometimes the weather sucks really badly if you’re not used to it but I would say it’s a good school to go to if you want to “live the college life”. However since it’s not in NYC or anything, there is a bit of limitation as to what you could do.
