Is It True?

I heard that at BC, they don’t care if you tell them it’s your top choice, or if you send in additional materials…They only review your application (w/ grades, test scores, etc.) and recommendations.

Is this true?

It's true. BC admissions isn't that interested in you professing how much you love them, how much you want to go there, or even if you visit the campus, unlike Notre Dame, for instance. So to tip the admission hand in your favor, highlight the aspects of your background that would make you a good fit for BC, volunteer work, sports, other achievements and leadership.

But you should send in additional materials if you have special talents in art, theatre or music for example. Also if you have won any prestigious awards, that would be worth sending as an addition to your app.

I'm pretty sure that BC is overrated.

unrelated random opinion? no one cares.

Poor Leigh.
