Is it very hard to get accepted to Cal State Dominguez Hills, Long Beach, or Pomona?

<p>Right Now I am in my senior year of high school. I have a 3.3 gpa unweighted and a SAT score of 1280. I had 5 honor classes during my sophomore year and I have 3 right now. I want to major in computer science. All of my classes are college-prep and I got to a private school.</p>

<p>writing, math, and critical reading and I also forgot to mentioned I have a 16 (composite score) on the ACT</p>

<p>Hmmm…yeah, it will probably be pretty tough for you to get in to most csu’s then. Your GPA isn’t great, and your test scores are very low…And for computer science, you would probably have to show that you’re good at math. But, hey, it’s worth a shot! I would recommend applying to some community colleges and some other csu’s that would be easier to get in to. long beach is very competitive.</p>

<p>Pomona would be a big reach for you.</p>

<p>It has a very low acceptance rate.</p>

<p>OP means Cal Poly Pomona, a CSU with about a 45 percent admit rate.</p>
