Last semester I transferred to another college after getting my Associates degree and graduating from community college. In my first semester at my new school, I find myself getting involved in the AAAE club, going to school sponsered events such as a dance party and Super Bowl TV night. And hanging out with new friends all while balancing study.

Next semester, I want to hold a club position with the AAAE club, get an on campus job related to my major, maybe join another club, and hang out with my friends, all while taking 4 courses and 1 online course. I just hope I can do everything I wanted next semester.

But I realized something. Is it too easy to get involved in everything in college, especially during the first semester at a 4-year college? I guess the reason why I feel I am too involved was because I didn’t get too involved when I was in community college although I made one or two life long friends back in community college.

But what do you guys think? Is it too easy to get involved in college besides academically, whether if it is joining clubs, hanging out with friends, or having an on campus job?
