Is it weird to room with a professor?

Well, technically assistant professor.

Since I’m pretty much screwed for housing and will take anything I can find, plus this guy’s offering a good deal.

But I mean, is it weird? Has anyone ever head of something like this?

Do Not Do It!

I am from the future. I cannot explain now, but you have to trust me…

Also, don’t sleep with that chick Amie… She has herpes…

You Can Thank Me Later; GoodByeeeeeeee

^^ AHHH damnit! Amie had herpes??!

****.

Alexander (2089-2150), inventor of the time-machine, was here.

K guys lets put our serious faces on now

Well, I’m moving to a new apartment in May, turns out one of my professors lives next door to me at the place I’m moving to.

Depends on what type of relationship you have with this person. It could be awkward or not. I would advise against doing it unless it was a last resort.

I dunno - sounds like it might be an interesting time. I’d do it. :)

yes it’s weird…

Terrible idea.

Is it one of YOUR professors? If not, I say not a big deal. If it’s one of your professors…stay away. There has to be more than one housing option.

Sounds odd to me. Honestly it depends on his age. If he’s in his mid-to-late 20’s then maybe, it really depends on how he is and what kind of person you are.

Well if your not doing well in the class, you could resort to other means to get that A =]

but seriously, it sounds pretty weird, not gunna lie

He’s a professor for a completely different major so I would never have him. Looks like mid 30’s… idk

depends, is he cool? as long as ur not a girl its fine.

I’m a guy, he’s a guy, he’s rich and is paying like 3/4 of the rent while I pay 1/4 of the rent, so I get a single room for the price of a double.

Well, if you’re never going to have him as a professor—then go ahead and do it. It’s just like rooming with a random guy who happens to be older, wealthy, dislikes do****uchebags and a professor at your college.

sounds like a good deal if ur a peaceful guy.
i mean, if ur not out looking for new people to meet then why not.
and if u don’t bring many friends over then it’s fine.

it wont work for some people though, like myself, since i come home late at night and like to party/bring friends over.
on the flip side, i think its better to meet people your age because who knows, they might just turn out to be a long time friend or have a large network of connections.

Don’t do it. That’ll be terrible for your social life. It’s plain weird, too.

Sounds weird as hell. I wouldn’t do it.

sounds like you found yourself a sugar daddy, and if you dont swing that way then its gonna be weird as hell, I wouldn’t do it.
