Is It Worth Doing Virtus?

I didn’t get accepted into any scholars, honors, or gemstone program and I got the email for Virtus and it sounded pretty cool since I got into the engineering school and it has ac haha

Did any of you guys do Virtus and was it worth it? Thanks for reading.

Any reason not to?

While I can’t speak from experience, it does sound like it has all the bells and whistles to help you survive engineering classes and provide professional development skills. Yea, they always had the professional development skills workshops available, but before Virtus, you had to seek them out. Virtus brings them to you, in your dorm. There are tutors, mentors, fellow classmates for study groups (they talked about those aspects at the engineering preview session, and the girls that were there had done Flexus, the well-established female model for Virtus, and raved about it)… and yea, a/c is nothing to sneeze at.

So why not? If you look at the syllabi from last year, it looks pretty comprehensive…
