Is it worth going as an International?

One main thing worries me …

The postgrad prospects of getting a place at a top grad school for law, med or business etc as well as the opportunity to stay back and work.

Can anyone shine any light on this topic? And about grad school, for those who know, how good do you have to be as an international to get in? (I know it’s hard to quantify these things but some sort of indication would be great)

Dude, seriously, you’ve posted so many threads, are you really this nervous about everything? Why would CU not have good grad school placements?

actually certain grad opportunities (like med school) are alot harder when you are an international…but that has nothing to do with columbia

Exactly. I’ve already spoken to some people like Shraf and I’m just seeing what other people think or know from experience etc

@ Vesalvay

dont pass up an opportunity to attend a world-reknown university in the heart of NYC. It beats your usyd, unsw and ANU easily in presitige and you will gain so much more experience.

hahaha i hear ya… again, postgrad worries remain

by the way, whats ur msn or AIM - itd be quite valuable talking to an Aussie-Columbia student
