Hello guys! I am currently a freshman at GVSU. I am planning to apply as a transfer student to the University of Michigan next year. The only problem is that a lot of my credits will not transfer. I would most likely have to complete my degree in five years. Will this be worth it, or should I just stick to where I am at? I will still have to do some of the prerequisites for their statistics major and will have to declare the major my senior year.

Will the degree at GVSU give you the opportunity to get the job you want? You need to find that out before you make a decision about taking an extra year to graduate. Go to the Career center at your school and find out where they place students in your major.
