I took the ACT twice this past spring. The first time I got a 27 and the second time I got a 28.

The thing is, I didn’t have enough time to study for those two tests and I know my score would be even higher if I did, but I know I’ll get busy and won’t be able to study anyway.

Should I try to go for a third time? Or should I use this time to work on college apps and scholarships and whatnot? I am looking at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities business school if that helps any.

Thanks!

According to this, your score is in the 25th percentile (I’m assuming /business school is School of Management). It still seems to be a score that a lot of people probably have though.

College Board pretty much says the same thing. It DOES also say that Standardized Tests are a very important factor though, so if it’s something you think you can afford to put more time into, then I don’t see why not try a third time.

If you won’t be able to study and your score won’t get any higher however, then you probably shouldn’t bother. I’m kind of forgetting that UoM isn’t the only college you’ll be applying to.
