Is it worth it to WAIT 1 year to be guaranteed admission into "dream" school?

<p>So Texas A&M have a course plan where if you finish 6-7 courses with B or above you’re guaranteed admission. (Grades must be posted, doesn’t count if you’re enroll in course)</p>

<p>I have over 60 credits and I need 1 class in Spring 2013 to complete their 6-7 course requirement which the grade won’t be posted in time for deadline of Fall 2013.</p>

<p>I’d be admitted for Spring 2014, the problem is I’m 25 with 3 kids already. There’s no other class I can take at CC, so Cal 3 would be my only class to take at CC, and have to wait a whole year before transferring. (1 course the whole year)</p>

<p>I feel like this is really wasting my time as I’m already kind of old. Is A&M reputation worth the wait like job placement wise? I’m accepted at Texas Tech not sure how it compares to A&M.</p>

<p>You should talk to the advising staff at A&M and see if you can get the last course waived (or maybe there are other options neither of us have thought of).</p>
