<p>Hi, Im from Puerto Rico and I am currently discussing my education possiblities. I have been accepted to UNC- CH(OOS) and University of Rochester and I am still waiting for Bowdoin, Williams, Notre Dame and Carleton. My EFC has come out to be 24,400 and even though none of my financial aid packages have arrived I am already talking with my parents. They have agreed to give a 10k a year for college, but as you may notice there are still 14k left to cover and that is if they give me 100% need. I am planning on doing pre med to then study opthalmology. Is taking a 14K-20K yearly loan worth it to go to a US college over my local state university?</p>
