Planning out my senior year, I’m stuck on whether or not I should take a third SAT II. My standardized tests haven’t been too great (2100 SAT, 750 Math II, 690 US History, all under immense stress from ECs), so I’m not completely sure how two months or so of self-studying material from 10th grade (I’m a senior) will turn out. I hear World History is one of the easier subjects, but I’m not sure if it’s worth my time. I’m pretty sure I could manage 700+, but it’s just the time involved.

Mainly, I would take it to get better SAT IIs and be able to apply for Harvard. But balancing the SAT II with my ECs as DECA State President, Assistant Principal of my school’s Chamber Orchestra, Team Captain of my swim team, President of my Table Tennis Club, 5 APs, and College Apps just seems like it might be too much to handle…

Advice?

(just in case you’re wondering, I’m applying early to Stanford and Yale, so this SAT II wouldn’t help. For Regular, I’m going Rice, CMC, UPenn, and Harvard, if I take the WH SAT II)
