Is it worth the extra 21 credits?

Hi,
Im in this predicament. I really want to graduate manga cum laude (3.7 gpa) but I kind of messed up this semester so I calculated my gpa and I have two options.

Either 1)
Take continue taking 15 credit course loads for the rest of my semesters at UF and get all As. Apply to law school with a 3.5 gpa and graduate with a 3.6 GPA (cum laude)

OR
2)
Take 18 credit course loads for the rest of my semester - get all As.
Apply to law school with a 3.6 GPA and graduate with a 3.7GPA (magna cum laude)

If I go with option 2 I’d have to take an additional 21 extra credits in total to push for a 3.7 GPA and graduate with manga cum laude. I’d also be applying to law schools with an extra .1

is it worth option two to take the extra 21 credits and apply to law school and graduate .1 higher?
Thanks!

What’s to say that you don’t mess up the remaining semesters, Also getting all A’s in the next seven semesters is a bit of a longshot don’t you think

It sounds like it would be very difficult to get straight A’s for three years while taking an 18 credit load, considering that it is possible that whatever messed you up this past semester could mess you up again…
