Is joining a consulting organization/club beneficial for accy students?

<p>I’m an accounting student and want to work for big 4. We have several student-run consulting organizations in our school. Is joining one of them a huge advantage for future career? I tried to apply but got denied, and very frustrated now. Should I keep applying or try something else?</p>
