Is Lehigh falling apart?

One of the visit reports about Lehigh said that it had maintenance problems. Is it really serious? Who wants to go to a school that is falling apart?

I haven’t been on campus since late last summer, but it certainly didn’t look the way she described it when I was last there.

^ ok, thanks! That’s reassuring! :>)

Visited with my S summer of 2006. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the interior of the buildings. We came away thinking that Lehigh was a great, challengng university with a need for better maintenance. It was surprising, given the price tag and the beauty of the campus. It was summer though, so maybe the cleaning was a little lax.

The condition of dorms are big turn-off. Lehigh keeps increasing fees for what ?

Well, I think all the facilities are decent. They are all usable… a few could use a remodel, but Lehigh has been consistently remodeling and renovating buildings around campus for years now (take Linderman, for instance).

You also have to realize that Lehigh is set on a mountain… this means buildings are scattered randomly. plus you want find the classic movie-like quad found in other college campuses. also, aside from central areas, the campus has somewhat of a rustic, natural feel. it’s a forest, you know.

I still think Lehigh is beautiful in its quirky way.
