W:780 R:730 M:700
2nd time taking SAT (math score exactly the same both times).
At most schools we are considering the 780 in writing is in the top quartile, the Reading score near top quartile(at least) but the math near bottom quartile.
Student top 1% in class of 520, NHS, sports team captain, other activities…
Since, overall the 2210 is in the 99th percentile is the relatively low math score a big problem?
(other then for Caltech,MIT, etc)
Thanks in advance for any insight.

I think that depends on what major you decide to go in/how you frame your application.

If it really bothers you, then you should go ahead and retake it. You still have time! But if you don’t you will most likely be fine as well.
