Hi guys! So I’m planning on majoring in Political Science and I’m trying to figure out what would be the best thing to minor in. I first thought about Psychology, but now I’m leaning towards Media Studies. I am really interested in Media Studies, more so than I am in Psychology. Also, I feel it may benefit me going into a field of politics or journalism. But is Media Studies is a good thing to minor beside a Political Science major or would it just be a waste of time?
It’s a good minor if you’re interested in it. 
I encourage you to consider waiting until the middle of your second year to declare a minor after doing your general courses, electives, and a few major requirements. You might find a minor that you’ve already taken a few prerequisites for and are half way through completing. Let your minor follow your interests.
