Is Michigan a reach, target, or safety for me?

<p>I’m an out of state high school senior and my counselor says I need more safeties/targets to apply to. What would Michigan classify as for me?</p>

Calculus AB (Will take), French Lang. (Will take), English Lit. (Will take), Gov (Will take)</p>

<p>Community Service: 40 hours with Special Olympics (helped with annual basketball tourney every year), 20-30 hours with fundraising for Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer Counselor at Intramural sports camp for summer for about 160 hours.</p>

<p>It couldn’t be considered a safety imo because you are OOS, but I’d say it is a low match given your stats/resume. You would be a very strong candidate in their applicant pool.</p>

<p>You are clearly a very strong candidate and I don’t think being OOS matters in your case, however when did you apply? The later you apply the lower your chances are. If you applied by Nov 1st then I’d say safety, otherwise match.</p>
