Is mona lisa book good enoguh for atleast a 3?

In art history Ap can you get a 3 or maybe even a 4 with just the mona lisa book or is it just mising a lot of info and is just a good book for general overview?

???

???

You’re probably not getting an answer because not many people take AP Art History, and many of them probably don’t know about that book. Be patient…

I took it and I’d say no, get a textbook. It’s good for reviewing before the exam.

yea, if you know everything in that book u will get at least a three.

collegehopeful did u ever take ap art hist

The Annotated Mona Lisa is a good book. However, it is not designed to provide a review for the AP Art history exam. I just found a really great book that is designed to provide a comprehensive review for the AP Art History exam. The book was just published by REA and is entitled AP Art History. According to the College Board its two authors were the most successful AP Art History teachers in the world for the past 3 years! Their knowledge of the subject and the test is awesome. Study this book and a 5 is virtually guaranteed.

The REA book looks great!!! It also has some books for more APs!! :D

This hasn’t really got much to do with art history, but are all those annoying question marks really necessary? You completely screwed up this thread, and I hope you know that writing ‘Bump…’ will have exactly the same effect as abusing the shift and question mark keys.

Triwizard, can you tell where you got this collegeboard ap art history information about the two teachers from?

Here’s what page vii, “About the Authors” says:

The co-authors of this book, Larry Krieger and Frank Chmiel, have invested in these pages the wisdom and experience they have gained as developers of an AP Art History program that, according to the College Board, has led the world three years running “in helping the widest segment of their total school population achieve an exam grade of 3 or higher.” You can find confirmation of this in the College Board’s AP Report to the Nation.

REA has really hit a home run this time. This book is amazing!

Don’t have Mona Lisa but have seen it. Ordered Triwizard’s REA book. Waiting for it to arrive. Agree with someone else’s post - get a good textbook. We use Gardner’s in class. Our teacher also keeps other textbooks on desk for us to use . She runs photocopies of Stokstad for us sometimes but said she’s been using Gardner’s for years and it’s the best. She said she does use Mona Lisa but just for interesting facts.
