I have been recently accepted and offered a huge scholarship but I’m a gay female who’s also Mexican. I don’t want to be surrounded by bigoted people and was wondering if a lesbian Mexican is capable of living peacefully while her 4 years of college.
I did some searching and found out the racist and homophobic comments thrown to an African American gay man and I really don’t want to deal with that. This might seem foolish for some but it’s a real dealbreaker for me.
How did Monmouth get on your application list? What made you interested in the first place?
How affordable are your other options?
The only people I know who studied at Monmouth graduated from there more than ten years ago, so their experience wouldn’t speak to the present situation there.
