It’s fairly isolated but has gorgeous views, and if you have a car you’re right into cool things rather fast since LA’s close enough.
Strong in nursing, biology.
Trying to recruit more students from Asia and “internationalize” a bit, considering they’re in a prime location (LA).
Heavily commuter - most freshmen live at home and commute, but about 1,000 live on campus so there’s some community feel.
4-year graduation rates (42%) are pretty good considering that its entering students’ stats are roughly the same as CSULA’s and CSULA has an 8% graduation rate… (A majority of students are first gen and its top 25% students barely hit 500 in either CR or M, so to get such a graduation rate they must do things right.)

It wont cost my family much seeing that I did get a scholarship and am planning on working. I will be living on campus and also plan on completing my biochem (or bio) so I can apply to med school. Thank you for your insight! :)>-
