Is my classes rigorous enough?

I’m a freshman considering to apply for some of the most selective universities. I take math20A(calculus,4 units), chem6a(general chemistry 4 units), required college writing(4 units), microeconomics(4 units) for my 1st quater. Are they “rigorous” enough? Do I need to add a 4-unit computer science or change chemistry to honors class? Will it influence my application much?

What are ususally considered as “lightweight courses”?

Your schedule looks good. “Lightweight” classes could possibly include: yoga 101, beginning ballet, “study skills”, etc. I’m not saying that the classes are totally pointless, but they would have less impact on adcom than the ones you’re taking.

Thank you! I decided not to add my fifth class. I have other things to do after all…

Nice English Bro. “is”

You’ve never had typo! Good job!
Look at the title. It’s definitely an “are”.
