Is my college list reasonable?

Hi,
I am an international student from Pakistan.
Currently doing BBA
CGPA: 3.3
3 corporate internships
GRE: 330
Highschool: Straight As
Currently in my fourth year, so applying without any work experience.

Will need financial aid and scholarship. I have a green card too.

My college list include:
NYU SCPS Integrated Marketing program
UT Austin M.S marketing program
Northwestern Medill Integrated Marketing Communication program
Duke M.S Management FOB program
UCLA M.A Economics program

. I would definitely add some safety schools because you, like everyone else, may not get accepted to any of the ones on your list. But you have a shot!

I have added two safety schools
USC Marshalls M.S Marketing
John Hopkins M.S Marketing

I feel like USC and JHU aren’t safety schools…your list is very reach heavy, but I’m not sure about admission stats for GREs and your GPA scale, but I think it’s going to be touch, especially being an international student needing aid! Apply to more state schools that are less selective to have a better chance.

No one, I repeat no one, international or American, would ever consider USC and Johns Hopkins safety schools!

I do remember a student a few years ago on CC who used JHU as a safety.

Pretty sure they got shut out.

Please add some real safety schools! Any school that is in the top ~30ish schools on the rankings and/or have acceptance rates under 25% are definitely not safeties for all but brilliant, genius kids who have discovered a planet. There are many state schools that are less selective that still offer great programs, and some smaller LACs if you are looking for that vibe.

And for international students, no U.S. schools are really safeties.

This person is applying to graduate schools, thus the GRE.

I’m saying, no, your list is not reasonable although your GRE is great. High school grades don’t matter. 3.3 is equivalent to a B+ average.

Is the NYU School of Professional Studies outside of NYU graduate school? If so I think you have a shot of getting in on your stats, however-- you need to provide evidence that you have $$ to afford it, which I’m guessing you don’t have? For that reason I don’t think it’s reasonable.

There are many colleges that would be reasonable, however.
