k so basically

1) harvard called my school, asking her why she wasn’t taking full IB (and I think the teacher gave them a pretty good answer)

2) harvard e-mailed her, reminding her that she must complete her financial aid package (which she sent a few weeks before, they probably haven’t received it yet)

the fact that harvard is showing so muhc interest/concern for her, does that mean she’s in @ harvard?

im excited for her!

harvard follows a need-blind admission process, even for internationals. So the financial aid office has nothing to do with the admissions office. So if your friend got an email reminding her to complete her finaid forms, it means nothing.

And about the college calling your school- I don’t know.

no, she is NOT in at harvard

it simply means that your friend is annoying the admissions office with incomplete application and financial aid application

of course, you can have your false hopes up… but you’d only be HUGELY disappointed

Isn’t the financial aid office separate from the admissions office? Why would an incomplete financial aid app have any bearing on her actual application?

are you sure its not YOU that you are inquiring about? Doesn’t sound like “she” is in at all, just following up to be sure they have a complete application, but sounds like “she” is under consideration for them to call the school and find out why she isn’t taking a full IB courseload…good luck.

haha, if it was about me, i’d say that it is me that im talking about. As you can probably find from my past posts, I am a full IB student, so basically that already shows that I am not asking about myself. (I did apply to Harvard too though)

anyway, now I kind of feel guilty cuz I told my friend that Harvard seemed interested in her…I think she’s got false hope now because of me :S
She is an amazing individual though, with awesome stats and great personality. So I wouldn’t be surprised if she got in… Well anyway, thanks for your replies guys =)

“no, she is NOT in at harvard”
hmm sounds quite sure, doesnt he? im sensing some good old cc bitterness/jealousy up in heeereee. :)
