I’ve been at a CC for almost a year (enrolled last fall). Unfortunately I got a C in Calculus…I had some personal issues during the last couple test…I’ve been researching about the TAG (transfer admission guarantee) program before I took the class, most of the UCs requires a 3.0 in first year calculus for my major (computer science)… I heard that we’ll have to file TAG application in september or something…Does anyone know what I should do now…? Is my future totally ruined because of this?
Thanks in advance…

yes, sorry. I hear walmart is hiring.

What you should do now is call the UC you’re interested in and talk to an admissions officer familiar with TAG. Only they can tell you if you still have a shot.

Even if you can’t do the TAG, it doesn’t mean that your future is ruined. Futures are surprisingly hardy beasts, I’ve found.

Chedva’s got the right idea as to your course of action.

can’t believe how many threads with titles of “omg, i ruined my life”
