Is my Harvard application still considered?

Because of my financial situation, I was not able to take the SAT subject tests, which is required for all applicants. My school doesn’t give out SAT fee waivers–only ACT fee waivers. My TRIO counselor wasn’t even able to get a SAT Subject Test fee waiver.

Also, last month, I checked my application status online, and it said that my February, September, and December ACT tests were “unofficial” and the only “official” score I had was my October test. Of course, I sent it to them (I had my TRIO counselor help me out because I didn’t have the money).

So, is my application still considered? Do you think the reason why Harvard asked for these ACT scores was to replace my SAT subject scores? I don’t know, just wondering…

Why don’t you call or email Harvard?

A lot of schools take ACT with writing as equivalent to SAT + SAT sub. Don’t remember on Harvard. You had ACT send scores, right? College Board has way online to check if scores actually sent. ACT probably does. But call Harvard.
