I scored an 1170 on the PSAT today and I know that´s not very good but is it horrible? I want to go to UNC Chapel Hill and I am well rounded until it comes to standardized tests such as SAT (1150) and ACT. What can I do to improve?
1170 isn’t a great score, however… considering that the PSAT does have differences from the normal SAT, I wouldn’t be too worried. I’m assuming you’re either a junior or sophomore, so you definitely have time to improve! You would probably best be served taking practice tests for the SAT and ACT to see which suits your test-taking style better. From there, you should just practice, practice, practice! For most people, it takes a couple tests to get to their preferred range.
