Is my SAT good enough for HYPSM?

I have decent ECs and would like to have an SAT that is competitive for top schools.

My SAT was 1550 (750 R/W, 800M), but I got 6/5/6 on the essay. Is a 6/5/6 low enough that it will affect my admissions into top schools? Should I retake?

no the essay is meaningless. make sure your essays for your application are strong
