Is my Sophomore schedule for next year okay?

Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Chemistry
AP Human Geography
AP European History
Honors English 10
P.E.

Should I add in Journalism even though it will lower my GPA? Is it a significant EC? Am I losing out on a lot by not taking Spanish 2? Should I do Spanish 2 over the summer?

Also, there is a KEY club at my school but the local Rotary club and my dad are trying to convince me to found a Rotary Interact club. Should I do it?

Well, I would take Spanish 2. Languages are really important if you plan on doing anything international (obviously). Often, colleges (especially penn/wharton) like to see at least three or four years in one language. If you have an extra block, you should take a class. Take journalism if you think it would be fun. You’re only a freshman now, so you should take the schedule you want to take, not what you think will lower your GPA. I would also advise getting finished with any graduation requirements so you don’t end up doing them senior year.
As for rotary, I think it would be a good thing to found. I don’t see a negative effect of this, besides maybe putting in a couple more hours.
