Hello all. I graduated in 2015 with a degree in political science. I would like to enroll in a master’s program for international relations or public policy in the near future. I wrote an honors thesis and thus graduated with honors. However, I’m not sure if my grades are good enough to get in. My grades are not very consistent. I graduated with an overall 3.2 GPA and a 3.5 major GPA. My GPA was good enough to let me enroll in my major’s honors program, but I’m not sure if my performance in other classes will hurt me when applying to graduate school. I have mostly As and Bs, probably more Bs than As. I have two B-s and two Fs. My grades began to drop when I started working during my junior year of college.
Along with writing an honors thesis, I worked as a research assistant and have internships. Assuming my test scores and recommendations are good enough, do you think this will be enough to overcome my inconsistent grades?
