I was wondering is the new student orientation mandatory in Glendale Community College? I was also wondering what would happen if I don’t attend the orientation. The website for GCC said it is required.

I would trust the website then. I suppose you can be dropped from enrollment if you don’t. No one here will really know what will happen. You need to contact the administration and tell them if you have a good reason you cannot attend.

Do you really think people HERE would know? We have never heard of that CC, much less know its policies. YOU need to call the school and ask if there are any exceptions.

I’ve heard of it. Most likely if the website says it’s required, you should go.

Go, you’ll learn about matriculation, placement tests, what’s required to graduate or transfer, etc.

You’re not likely to get an answer to this question here, as others have said.

If the website says it’s mandatory, then it likely is. College orientations often seem pointless, but you will get some valuable information there.
