Is NYU right for me?

I want to pursue a degree for patent law in the future. Right now I am thinking about majoring computer science at NYU with, most likely, political science.
Does anyone know how NYU students turn out for patent law in grad school?
Thanks

bump bump bump

I can’t imagine it would matter. Not many students decide in their freshman undergraduate year that they will someday want to practice patent law!

Failing, your question is impossible to answer. How competitive you are for law school will depend on your GPA and your LSAT score when applying. Many/most law students do not know what type of law they will be practicing when they start law school, let alone before they even do undergrad. Also, law is not referred to as grad school. It is generally referred to as professional school. You have lots of time to figure out your future. One thing I will say, though, is that many/most patent and IP attorneys have taken a science or Engineering major in undergrad. Finally, many NYU grads are successful in pursuing law school.
