Is Old Leconte Hall Being Used?

Can Undergraduates Go To Old Leconte Hall For Lectures, Or Do They Only Have To Go To The “New” Leconte Hall. Is The Old Leconte Hall Only Reserved For Graduate Students?

please don’t capitalize the first letter of every word.

What do you mean old Leconte? Isn’t there only one Leconte?

There’s only one Leconte Hall but the western half is (closer to Campanile) is referred to as “new” leconte and the eastern half (closer to latimer) is called “old” leconte. Old Leconte recently went under a restoration so it actually appears newer than new leconte which makes the naming confusing.

Re: the OP’s question… I’m not sure what you mean. Old Leconte doesn’t have any lecture halls so you can’t really attend lecture there if the rooms for them don’t exist. All the lecture halls are on the new side. There are discussion/lab rooms for physics 7/8 in both new and old leconte.

Actually, my physics GSI says the side closer to the Campanile is new Le Conte while the side close to Tan Hall and Gilman Hall is old Le Conte, which does indeed look much nicer than new Le Conte. I actually have classes in both old and new Le Conte right now. My Physics 7A lecture and discussion are in new Le Conte while my lab is in old Le Conte, but old Le Conte does mainly consist of labs and small rooms for discussions and labs.
