is one B on Midyear Report a major red flag?

In one of my AP classes I had an A both quarters, but at the end I did badly on the semester exam. Although I do not know the definite answer yet, I think that test grade can possibly turn my two quarters of hard worked A into a semester average of B. If thats how it will happen, how seriously do you think they would take it?

Also, is it better to ask my counselor to send a QUARTERLY BREAKDOWN of my semester grades so that they can see a more detailed account that I actually worked hard throughout the semester?

thanks

i think it’s sad that you would even consider one b as being a “major red flag.”

in other words, no.

wow
Chill out
one b is one b
dont be so obsessive
its senior year
and it happens to everyone
that is grades slipping

my D will also have 1 B and all As in the mid term report. and i was wondering the same question: is it better to send the detailed report or just the finals grades? the detailed report will show straight As in one quarter but also some Bs in the mid-term exams and the finals grades will show all As and 1 B !

OP and vieenchocolat: decisions won’t hinge on that item. Don’t let it stress you

what about one C in AP Calc, but the rest of your grades are A’s or A+'s?

One C may cause them to send you a warning letter, but I don’t think it’s cause for too much alarm.

Bs are totally fine… don’t worry at all.
