Is Outdoor Adventure Lame?

I think Outdoor Action is a bit hardcore for me, and as bratty as it sounds I can’t live without a bathroom. This whole troweling thing is =/
so I was thinking of doing Outdoor Adventure where you can return to camp everyday with a bathroom, but is it not as fun as Action?

Outdoor Adventure is lame.

Have you ever tried outdooring? Wihtout a bathroom? It really is not as bad as it sounds. Taking a poo in the woods can be much more fun than in a bathroom. No smell from countless poos before yours. And you don;t have to worry about jerms from other ppls’ poos either. And in case you run out of toilet paper you can always find leaves. Carefull though when doing that, i doubt your behind would like being wiped with poison ivy.

Point is you will never really feel the need for a bathroom. Well you will feel the normal “needs”, but you will manage without a bathroom and it will be okey. It’s just psychological.

Outdoor adventure… well, the best part about outdoring is the chance to see places where few ppl tread. And these places are worth it. Adventure sounds like you have a base-camp and you do short treks from there. Treks done by countless people, ppl that leave scars on the environment…

my opinion? Go for outdoor action. Don’t pick rock-climbing or other tough ones, but don’t pick outdoor adventure. It’s not about being lame, but you will never get the true taste of outdooring… quite the oposite…

P.S. You have to do outdooring tu really understand what it is about. No one can explain what exactly is so … so… about being stranded in wilderness…

It’s actually about Outdoor Adventure :)

Also, on at least my OA trip (which took place in the Laurel Highlands of Western PA), there were latrines every evening – we camped at campsites along the major trails. I don’t think there’s anything scary or repulsive about going in the wilderness; in fact, it may make an otherwise-uncomfortable latrine seem that much better!
