is PA condition based?

Since when i enter Ross next year, my GPA resets, could i just blow off my first year? would they rescind my PA? i mean just a hypothetical situation i might not actually do that

i thought you need a 3.3+?

i dunno, my parents have the letter, they mailed it to my “permanent address” for some reason

All preffered admits, must mantain a minimum of a 3.3 GPA , to be admitted into Ross.

crap then i m gonna take joke classes first year. Like first year spanish after taking the AP… um what other joke classes are there?

Dont they instruct you take some specific classes in the Pre Admit program? You’ll have to take the 3 pre requisites and some others perhapns.

i have all credits to place out the pre requisites,
AP Macro/Micro
AP English
AP Spanish
Calc BC
and the science APs i think i can place out of all requirements and take whatever i want, so can anyone tell me what the joke classes are please? btw i m a preadmit in the COE and i am aiming to do both IOE and ross

Bearcats, a 3.3 GPA is not that hard to maintain. You obviously have to hit the books, but if you do, you should be able to maintain a 3.5 GPA.

lol i know it’s not like i m gonna slack off but i dun wanna risk my PA…i mean it’s the main reason why i chose michigan…other than the social scene and stuff

I’d like to say a few things as a current preferred admit this year. First off, getting a 3.3gpa isn’t as easy as you think. There are no such things as ‘joke’ classes at Michigan, and if you think so, then you underestimate the school you’re attending. Second, Ross will not hesistate to kick you out if you don’t meet the 3.3gpa. That requirement is so low compared to the average GPA of kids who get in as sophmores. I got a 3.16 first semester and I gave biweekly progress updates to my b-school advisor. Pulled off the 3.3 cum though.

Take classes that interest you, not just because you might get an A in them. I took an ‘easier’ course last semester, but the content bored me to the death, so I didn’t care about it and didn’t do well. On the other hand, another class I took was known as pretty difficult, but I really enjoyed it, so I worked hard and did well.

What’s your first name by the way? Might seem weird to ask, but by the time of your orientation, hopefully you’ll know why I asked.
