My son is interested in two different majors at a state engineering/tech school: Packaging Science and Bioengineering. Packaging Science at this school is very technical (lots of chemistry, etc…). I know very little about the field. Does anyone have any input as to what kind of job prospects/career growth this field has as compared to bioengineering?

Here is a [list of schools in packaging](http://www.packworld.com/schools) with brief descriptions of their programs.
